I am Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi University, where I also serve as Director of the PhD in Business Administration and Management. I am Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).

I work in the area of corporate governance and family business. I am also interested in the interactions between finance, strategy and innovation, and in the behavioral aspects of corporate decision-making. I serve as Associate Editor of Management Science and Journal of Corporate Finance.
