Marina Carmela Luigia Puricelli
Marina Puricelli is a professor in the Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi University where she teaches Organizational Theory.She has won the Bocconi Teaching Award every year since 2005. Her research interests are focused on the Italian small and medium enterprises (SME) that represent an economic model in which she passionately trust. At Bocconi Business School she coordinates training projects, research and custom programs for entrepreneurs and for many Italian business associations. She was visiting Professor at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (Chile), visiting Ph.D. student at the London Business School and she took part in a doctoral studies workshop at the University of Minnesota. She is the author of numerous books and articles on Italian SMEs. She is also a management consultant on the following topics: organizational check-up in family-owned companies, growing businesses and succession planning, as she likes to be challenged in her work by applying her advice into real companies. Marina earned a Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in 1992 with magna cum laude and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Bologna and London Business School in 2000. She is married with two children and she interchanges her working life with happy moments with family and friends.
