I am Full Professor at the Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi University. I am Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Research Member at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), and Board Member at the International Corporate Governance Society (ICGS). 

I work in the area of corporate governance and family business. I am also interested in the interactions between finance, strategy and innovation, and in the behavioral aspects of corporate decision-making. I serve as Associate Editor of Management Science and Journal of Corporate Finance.
