I am Professor of Strategy and Organizations and I was Associate Professor of Strategic Management at IESE Business School and Assistant Professor of Strategy and Business Policy at HEC Paris. I hold a PhD in Industrial Administration Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh (PA) and a MS in Industrial Administration Graduate School of Industrial Administration, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh (PA). 

I routinely teach modules on social networks, organizational change, and strategy execution in several in-company executive education programs. Between 2017 and 2020 I have served as the Associate Dean for the Masters Division at the SDA Bocconi School of Management.

Research interests

My research focuses on understanding mechanisms and returns to informal network relationships defined within and across organizations. In particular, I study the social context of intra- and inter-organizational ties focusing on social networks, knowledge management, innovativeness, and performance.

Since 2019 I am an Associate Editor at the Academy of Management Journal.

I have taught core Competitive Strategy courses at the Undegraduate, Master, MBA, Executive MBA, and Global Executive MBA level. In addition to that, I routinely teach modules on social networks, organizational change, and strategy execution in several in-company executive education programs.
