Andrea Fosfuri
Andrea Fosfuri is Professor of Management and Dean of the PhD School and Innovation at Bocconi University.
Before joining Bocconi, he was a faculty member (1998-2012) of the Department of Business Administration at University Carlos III (Madrid), which he chaired during the period 2009-2011. He also taught at Boston University, IESE Business School and Carnegie Mellon University. He earned a PhD in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Management from University of Urbino (Italy).
He is currently an Associate Editor for Management Science and editorial board member for Strategic Management Journal.
From March 2021 till March 2023, he was the Italian Delegate for the European Innovation Council and European Innovation Ecosystem within Horizon Europe. He is currently board member of the B4i fund.
My research lies at the intersection between technology and innovation management and strategy. My recently published articles examine the timing of startup sale, corporate social responsibility in multinational enterprises and the relationship between competition and technology search strategies.
