Assistant Professor Positions at the Department of Management and Technology

The Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi University has 3 openings for full time tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level, starting from September 1st 2023. We seek applications to all areas of management scholarship, including Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Technology and Innovation Management, Organization and Management Theory, Human Resource Management, Sustainability, Organizational Behavior, International Business, Corporate Governance and Family Business.

The Department of Management and Technology has a long tradition of intellectual accomplishment anchored by senior leaders in the fields of technology, strategy, and organization theory. In 2022 the department was ranked 6th worldwide (3rd in Europe) for business and management in the QS Worldwide University Ranking, which is based on research productivity, academic reputation, and reputation among recruiters. The department is in a sustained period of growth and internationalization, with over 20 faculty members hired across all levels in the last five years.

Applicants should demonstrate the capacity for exceptional research achievement and the ability to teach effectively in undergraduate, masters, MBA, and PhD programs. Experienced candidates should have an established track record of successful research and teaching.

We plan to conduct informal interviews at the AOM annual meeting in Seattle in August. If you are attending AOM in person and would like to be considered for these interviews, please upload your resume and research statement by 23:59 (Central European Summer Time) on Monday July 11th 2022. Taking part in the AOM interviews is not a requirement of application, and we will conduct further virtual interviews in September.
